Demystifying Therapeutic Justice and Insights for Mediation

The Society of Mediation Professionals (Singapore), together with its co-organiser the Singapore Academy of Law, is excited to bring you a webinar titled “Demystifying Therapeutic Justice and Insights for Mediation”.

This webinar will explore the interaction between mediation and therapeutic justice, which involves looking at how processes used by the courts, judges, lawyers and other stakeholders affect the psychological well-being of those going through the legal system.

Professor David Wexler, founder of the concept of therapeutic justice, will open this webinar. He will then be joined by District Judge Kevin Ng, Dr Ronald Ng and former District Judge Mr David Lim as they share about the application of therapeutic justice principles in mediation across different fields such as family, healthcare, civil, and quasi-criminal matters. The dialogue will be moderated by Mr See Chern Yang.
