Coaching Scheme

Play a Starring Role in the Mediation Community

The SMP Coaching Scheme was conceived to help trainee mediators prepare for their SMC Mediation Skills Assessment (MSA). Through a simulated dispute scenario, candidates get to hone their skills, build their confidence, and receive guidance and feedback from the coach.

Since we started the scheme, we have received overwhelmingly positive responses and continual requests for these sessions, so this is where you can play a starring role! SMP is looking for members to serve as coaches and role-players.

The Coaching Scheme is an excellent opportunity for coaches and role-players to hone your own mediation skills, gain more mediation experience, and give back to the community. For coachees, it’s excellent practice before your MSA assessment. A winning scenario all round!
