A Special Event: Sports and Mediation –
Racing to Resolve Disputes

In the domestic context, mediation remains very much an underutilised (and misunderstood) tool in the resolution of disputes in the sporting world. Join us in a special event organised in conjunction with the SMP AGM where we speak to three experts in the sports arena on how mediation and ADR practices can be increasingly deployed to resolve sporting-related disputes and the bigger role mediation can play in the domestic landscape.

The Society of Mediation Professionals Singapore invites you to a moderated panel discussion with Mr Oon Jin Teik, Mr Mark Mangan and Mr Poh Seng Song on mediation in the sporting world.

The moderator will be Ms Eunice Chua.

Join us to hear the views of a distinguished panel of experts to survey the landscape of ADR (with a focus on mediation) for sporting disputes in Singapore. What are the promises and challenges for more widespread resort to ADR in the sporting arena? What are the international practices that Singapore can draw from? What success stories can we take inspiration from? The SMP AGM will take place after the webinar.
